Recognizing the growth potential, IBT expanded its horizons and rebranded as IBT Media, introducing additional brands such as Medical Daily, Latin Times, and Player. One, and Fashion Times.

Etienne, alongside the IBT team, played a pivotal role in the remarkable development of Newsweek Magazine. Their substantial investments in Newsweek's growth resulted in the transformation of the publication from an e-magazine to a comprehensive news website hosted at its original domain, Simultaneously, they successfully revived the print edition. In 2016, Etienne stepped down from his CEO position at IBT to focus on personal activities.
